Multinational $17bn Industrial products Company – Tax-optimisation of its supply chain operations through the creation of an International Trading Company

The client wished to restructure its worldwide export operations and at the same time take advantage of tax opportunities which become available through this restructuring programme. All exports and non-US domestic sales would be channelled through a single, new entity which would be based in Ireland. The company appointed consultants to advise on the operating model, tax requirements, process design and systems support required for the new company. This involved integrating our support in the areas of: - supply chain strategy - Shared service centres - process skills in supply chain, finance, management reporting, & sales order management - change management - US tax - Irish tax - oracle systems.
